New Spring Jewelry and March Newsletter!
Happy March! This month we get to indulge our love for all things green and springy, with some rainbows for St. Patrick's Day! We are open Wednesday - Saturday from 10am - 4pm. We couldn't have made it through the last year without the support of our wonderful customers. Downtown Seattle is still struggling, and for the month of March we will be donating a portion of our proceeds to our beloved Pike Place Market Foundation. Spring has us thinking about plants, gardening, and jewels with nature themes. Bugs! Butterflies! Snakes! Alex Sepkus has a wide array of playful bug jewelry that even an insect hater could love. John Apel makes the most beautiful enamel brooches in whimsical butterfly, dragonfly, and floral motifs. And the snake bangle by Arman Sarkisyan is a perennial favorite of ours.
The birthstone for March is aquamarine, named for the blue of the ocean. Pliny the Elder once said, "The lovely Aquamarine, which seems to have come from some mermaid's treasure house, in the depths of the summer sea, has charms not to be denied."
